Privacy Policy

Effective October 31, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Coastal Carts RMV ("Coastal Carts," "we," "us") collects and uses information in connection with our websites, showrooms, vehicle sales, service, rentals, accessories, and commercial offerings. It also explains your communication and privacy choices.

Information we collect and why

When you contact us, request a quote or test drive, build a cart, request service, or ask about commercial vehicles, we collect the information you provide. This may include your name, email, phone, ZIP code, company or property, preferred showroom, vehicle interests, purchase or service history, messages, and requested accessories. We use it to respond, prepare quotes, arrange appointments, route requests to the appropriate Coastal team, fulfill transactions, maintain records, prevent fraud, and improve our offerings.

Our website and service providers may also collect IP addresses, browser and device information, approximate location, referring pages, interactions, and cookie or advertising identifiers. We use these for website operation, security, analytics, advertising measurement, and relevant advertising, subject to your choices and applicable law. Saved carts and preferences may be stored on your device. Information comes from you, your use of our services, our showrooms, and providers supporting your transaction.

Credit applications are handled through a separate application service. Information you provide there may include identity, financial, housing, and employment details needed to evaluate or process financing. Its notices and applicable lender disclosures also apply. Do not include Social Security numbers, payment-card details, or other sensitive financial information in an ordinary quote, contact, or marketing form. We do not send credit-application details to Mailchimp through our website marketing integration.

Email and text marketing

Submitting an inquiry lets us respond to that request. It does not, by itself, enroll you in future promotional email or text messages. Our forms offer separate, optional choices for email and text marketing about promotions, new vehicle models, sale events, and relevant products and services. You may select either, both, or neither. Marketing consent is not a condition of purchase or of receiving a quote or test drive.

When you choose marketing, we record the choices, disclosure version, time, source page, and technical evidence such as IP address. We may store your contact details, showroom or territory, interests, and permission information in Mailchimp or another provider acting for us. Email confirmation may be required. A text permission record is not proof of an active SMS subscription; enrollment also depends on program availability and required confirmation.

Unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in a marketing message, or contact us below. For texts, reply STOP to the sending number, or ask us by another reasonable method to stop. Reply HELP for help where supported. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. See our SMS Terms. We process marketing opt-outs as soon as practicable and within applicable deadlines, including no later than 10 business days for marketing email and covered text revocations. An opt-out does not prevent necessary transaction, safety, service, or legal notices where permitted by law. We may retain limited suppression records to honor your request.

How information is disclosed

We disclose information as reasonably needed to Coastal personnel and showrooms; hosting, CRM, communications, analytics, payment, and other service providers; manufacturers, warranty providers, delivery or service partners; and financing providers when you request financing. We may disclose information for legal compliance, safety, fraud prevention, enforcing agreements, protecting rights, or a business transaction such as a merger or sale, subject to applicable protections.

We do not sell or share mobile phone information, SMS opt-in data, or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose it to providers that help operate our messaging program under appropriate restrictions, and as required by law. Email consent likewise authorizes Coastal's marketing, not unrelated companies' independent marketing.

Cookies, advertising, and privacy choices

Our site uses tools from providers such as Google, Meta, and OpenAI for analytics and advertising measurement. These providers may collect information about activity over time and across websites. Disclosures of online identifiers and browsing activity for cross-context advertising may qualify as a "sale" or "sharing" under certain state laws, even without a monetary payment.

Use Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information to turn off the site's nonessential browser tracking on this browser. We also honor supported Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals by disabling those browser tracking tools. Essential functionality remains available. This browser setting does not cancel email or text subscriptions, erase prior disclosures, or automatically apply to other devices. You can also adjust browser cookie controls or contact us for account-related requests.

Access, correction, deletion, and other rights

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to know or access personal information, obtain a copy, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, and limit certain uses of sensitive information. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights. We do not use sensitive application information through this marketing integration to infer personal characteristics.

Submit a request using the contact information below. Identify the relevant email or phone and the request; do not send sensitive identity documents unless we request them through an appropriate channel. We may verify identity or an authorized agent's authority for requests that require verification, but do not require an account or identity verification for browser advertising opt-outs. Legal exceptions may permit or require retention or limit a request. Where applicable, we acknowledge requests within 10 business days and respond to access, correction, or deletion requests within 45 days, notifying you of a permitted extension. Sale or sharing opt-outs are handled within the applicable period, generally no later than 15 business days. Contact us to appeal a decision where applicable law provides that right.

Retention, security, children, and changes

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including ongoing customer relationships, warranties, recordkeeping, legal obligations, disputes, security, and consent or suppression records. Retention depends on the type of record and applicable obligations; it is not an unlimited right to retain every record. We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is completely secure.

Our services are intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child provided information. External sites and services have their own policies. We may update this policy by posting a revised effective date and providing additional notice or obtaining consent when required. An update does not retroactively authorize a materially different use without any required permission.
